Assistant Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

Electro Sound Systems is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to support day-to-day warehouse operations and help ensure equipment is prepped, tracked, maintained, and ready for deployment. This is a full-time, hourly role that may include occasional evening or weekend hours based on production schedules.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing administrative organization with physical warehouse work. This role is critical to maintaining the quality, accuracy, and readiness of our inventory while supporting both the warehouse team and event operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily warehouse operations, organization, and overall shop readiness
Help manage gear prep, returns, restocking, staging, and equipment flow
Maintain clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse, prep, and storage areas
Support accurate inventory tracking and barcode scanning for all equipment movement
Perform quality checks, testing, and basic troubleshooting, and document damaged or missing gear
Help receive, organize, and put away incoming equipment, supplies, and shipments
Work with warehouse staff, technicians, and operations leadership to support priorities and deadlines
Assist with loading, deliveries, pickups, and other event or operational support as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse, production, AV, rental, logistics, or related operations role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and organizing equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
Basic troubleshooting ability and comfort working with technical equipment
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift equipment up to 75 lbs

Preffered Qualifications

Experience in live events, AV production, or rental operations
Familiarity with inventory systems, barcode-based tracking, or rental software
Experience with gear prep, QC, and equipment handling best practices
Leadership experience or experience helping direct workflow in a warehouse/shop setting
Cross-discipline familiarity with audio, video, lighting, staging, or power equipment
